Because you couldn’t afford the Stutz. I actually miss the ugly custom Corvette days, the gaudy wide bodys with 280 Z taillights, there was just so much cocaine use in the late 70s.

heh, my Lemons teammate is building a new car for himself for this year based on a (free) C3 he got. Ironically he’s already thrown out the small block chevy engine, just about the only redeeming piece of that vehicle.
